About you

You may come with a recent loss or life event or are in challenging circumstances right now. What you may find is that you choose to stay and explore your life. This can be seen as the difference between counselling and psychotherapy: shorter term support around a particular life event or longer term, deeper work about you. I’m open to however wide and long our work turns out to be.

Take your time, tell your story

Whichever approach is for you it can feel as though you’re telling me your story and that I’m there, listening without judgement, or perhaps even alongside you as you tell it. This can feel like a more soulful, less clinical way of working; giving voice instead to your experiences. Working not so much with ‘what’s wrong with you?’ more with ‘what’s happened to you?’
